Derrick Posted March 25, 2014 Report Share Posted March 25, 2014 Here we have a very narrow band of stilted mangroves just a few trees wide growing on a silica sand beach south of Trinity Inlet. The site was too harsh to support any epiphytes other than this myrmecophyte species yet the plants were in a surprisingly healthy condition. 679 M. beccarii on stilted mangroves.
