Aurélien
The irregular tuber and particular entrance holes remind me an unidentified Hydnophytum I've seen many times in Christian Klein's collections. This one had tiny round leaves, dark green, fleshy and waxy. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos of it...

Aurélien
Ok, thanks for the information! This species doesn't produce seeds if I remember? Christian was really attached to his few specimens...

Derrick
Jebb identified the tuber in my images but after sending him a DVD of all the plants I photographed in mainland New Guinea, he then ignored me. Is that a seedling beside the older plant in the image above?
