Andreas Wistuba Posted March 15, 2015 Report Posted March 15, 2015 Hi Jeff, honestly, I would try to get rid of Mealybugs at almost all cost, even if it means killing the ants. That's there reason, BTW, I never made any attempt to grow ant plants with ants. I need to keep my collection and sales plants clean and if I see any pest somewhere, it's treated. Mealy bugs belong to the most serious insect pests. They can weaken plants to death and are capable virus vectors. All the best Andreas
jeff Posted March 16, 2015 Author Report Posted March 16, 2015 Bonjour yes I am OK with you . but I cultivate my ant plant in 2 terra and it is more easier to dispose of these mealybugs, manually or with malathion + paraffin oil jeff
