Andreas Wistuba
Currently I'm going through thousands of old slides again that I took long ago during my first trips to Irian Jaya as I have to give a few talks on Nepenthaceae from the island soon. Again, I came across some pictures of Hydnophytinae that I completely forgot about. All plants are much too far away to allow for any decent diagnosis, but still I find some plants very impressive. The pictures here were all taken on the way from Fak-Fak to Kokas in the McCluers Gulf. I tried to do my best to digitally enhance them a little. Please bear in mind that the original slides are 20 years old - from summer 1994:
