Myrmephytum arfakianum

Recommended Posts

Here are some pictures of our 1994 expedition to Arfak mountains showing huge plants of Myrmephytum arfakianum and habitat. I returned there in 2013 and while you can still find M. arfakianum, the huge plants growing terrestrially are all gone. They are collected by locals to produce a traditional medicine.
