Derrick
Edited. Taiwan. Cecilia Koo Botanical Conservation Center, Pingtung County, Southern Taiwan. Has two specimens of Hydnophytum kajewskii on display but it is not open to the public. However, suitably connected persons can arrange private inspections. Also, for national botanical gardens or other botanical institutions (universities etc.) there may be opportunities for seed or even cuttings of the notable species H. kajewskii. Cuttings (preferably from two clones) will probably not form a caudex but cross pollination should provide viable seed. http://www.bgci.org/index.php?option=com_news&id=0481&print=1 here the county is spelt as pintung which seems to be incorrect.
