Subrosa
Importing seed into the US can be done without a phytosanitary certification, but it requires a phytosanitary exemption along with the standard PPQ587. It's called a "small seed lot exemption" Anyone interested needs to contact APHIS http://www.aphis.usda.gov/wps/portal/aphis/home/ for all the pertinent info. Andreas Wistuba
Well its been nearly 3 weeks at this point. Still no seeds, no contact from USDA or TNT and no updates on the TNT webpage. Awful... What does tracking say? Both times the shipments appeared in tracking once they had arrived in Port Moresby. From there, delivery was extremely fast! Frank
Hi Andreas' With the second shipment you just got from Zhon did you ask for and get moist packing of the seeds? Did they start to germinate in transit? Frank
Andreas Wistuba
Hi Andreas' With the second shipment you just got from Zhon did you ask for and get moist packing of the seeds? Did they start to germinate in transit? Frank No, the toilet paper was dry, but you could see that it was moist initially. I asked him to add a little more water next time. But seed looked much better then when I received the first shipment. All the best Andreas

Derrick
Although obviously most upsetting for USA growers at least there is now an opportunity for Hydnophytums kajewskii & guppyanum etc., to eventually become more widely available. There is also some hope for squamellarias.
