myrmecodia tuberosa 'siberutensis' ?

Hi Jeff,

Well, the locality kind of says it all here.  No other tuberosas on those island and across the straits are only armata. Leaf shape looks good.  A close up of the clypeoli would be useful because those are suppose to be special.  Flower section will not be of much help because Huxley and Jebb says there is no flower data.  Nice plant, I hope you can move it into cultivation.

Jeff,

Huxley and Jebb say that the clypeoli on M. t. siberutensis are "distinct, elongate, densely rimmed with root-like, sometimes branched spines c. .4 cm long"

I can't say as what is in the photo fits this description.  Certainly there is nothing "elongate" about the shape of the clypeoli and while there are some spines on the edges, the word "densely" does not seem appropriate
