Myrmephytum naumannii - new finding?

Very little is known about Myrmephytum naumannii.

The holotype is incomplete and even lacks the caudex.

Last year I found a very interesting Myrmephytum in the McCluer's Gulf in West Papua. That's exactly the locus classicus of Myrmephytum naumannii.

While there are considerable size differences between what I found and the fragments known, this might also be due to the fact that Hydnophytinae often flower at early age. So the Holotype might represent a young plant. This, however, remains highly speculative.

If the species I found is not M. naumannii, it certainly represents a new and undescribed species.
